Honduras Marcala

Grind:

Quantity/Price:

Organically grown with care in an ideal coffee-growing ecosystem of a high elevation, in cool, shade covered areas. With a medium body and pronounced flavor of nuts, caramel, and chocolate, and with a pleasing finish, this coffee is mild enough to drink as a breakfast blend, but bold enough to drink in the afternoon or after dinner.

Honduras is a relatively new member of the U.S. specialty coffee market. The Marcalan coffee market was pretty much monopolized by Germany for a century, but after a concentrated effort to achieve recognition of its superb quality, is now available to U.S. roasters.
