Papua New Guinea

Quantity/Price:

We have not met a coffee-lover who does not love this coffee! This is a truly enjoyable cup of coffee, a real crowd-pleaser.
Sweet cherry and chocolate dominate. For those who like to brew their coffee strong, this one will smack you with flavor. For those who like to brew theirs a little lighter, the distinct nuances and light acidity present themselves beautifully. Good body, and a pleasant finish.
Papua New Guinea is a wild, rugged region, with a tropical climate. The largely mountainous country is subject to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Perfect conditions for growing flavorful Arabica coffee.

Roast Level: Full City (medium-dark)

I was turned on to Papau New Guinea by a friend at work. I ordered some from The Beanery and was not disappointed. Very smooth with no bitterness. I was never really a coffee drinker because I always thought it tasted awful. Now I'm all in. Because I'm a novice drinker I didn't know that there were different types of beans and blends that were far superior to the ole Maxwell House and Foldgers that everyone in America serves. No wonder people drown it in cream and sugar. Papau New Guinea speaks for itself. It's smooth and delicious just the way it is. Hot and black. This is the best cup of coffee I have ever enjoyed. I highly recommend trying it.
